Introduction

"MP3 Manager" is being developed since March 1997 as an attempt to create a quality, stable program for managing a large amount of MP3's. This program is based on ID3 Tags and Lyrics3 Tags (go to my homepage at http://www.volweb.cz/str/ for specifications of ID3 Tag and Lyrics3 Tag). If you do not intend to use tags, MP3 Manager is definitely not suited for you!

MP3 Manager is compatible with all Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP.

Main features:

1. Allows selection of your choice of MP3 Players. The following players supported:
• CoolPlayer. Only basic support
• Sonique. Only basic support (no API commands, only few commandline options available).
• Winamp. Although Winamp3 is partially supported by external Winamp3 component, currently only using Winamp2 you can enjoy maximum features in MP3 Manager.
• ZoomPlayer. Video and audio player with support for Lyrics3 Tag.
2. Full support for ID3 Tag + Lyrics3 Tag, ID3v2 tag import/export.
3. Automatic recursive search for media files (MP1, MP2, MP3 including variable bitrate, VQF, WMA, MP3 WAV, AVI, ASF) through up to 99 independent drives or directories.
4. Three faces of MP3 Manager
• with MP3 list window for searching or editing
• narrow strip with controls only, which takes less place on desktop
• On Screen Display mode.
5. The most unique, simplest selection for play by artist, album or genre you can imagine. Merging selections. Playing order can be changed subsequently.
6. Many possibilities for random selections.

8. List Wizard: Export of database data to file in TXT, HTML, DBF, XLS (MS Excel), CSV (comma delimited text) file format.
